When the iconic Pizza Hut in Kirra closed its doors two years ago, we—and much of the Gold Coast—waited with anticipation to see what venue would take over this much-loved location. Say hello to . Siblings embodies the true essence of the Gold Coast—it’s light-filled, it’s breezy and it perfectly encapsulates the natural elements of its beachfront surrounds. The stunning, 200-seater space boasts uninterrupted ocean views from its outside deck area and inside it emulates Kirra’s coastal beauty, with soft hues of lime green, peach and orange contrasting the natural Australian timber and rattan. The long-awaited venue is the work of the local Cianci restauranter family, whose other forays include Isle of Capri’s and .

The extensive menu pays homage to the abundance of fresh seafood on the Gold Coast, with premium local ingredients and modern Mediterranean flavours taking centre stage. Warm your palate with small bites like chargrilled king prawns with kombu butter and baby capers or the croquettes manchego with shaved jamon and aioli. Graze your way through the extensive mains and be sure to sample standout dishes like the prawn and bug meat risotto with pink champagne cream and the ricotta gnocchi with cauliflower puree and burnt butter. 

Although it’s tempting to fill up on all the savoury deliciousness, leave room for the dessert—the pina colada panna cotta and the passionfruit and sesame tart are finger-lickingly decadent. Siblings also boasts an extensive ‘liquid journey’ cocktail list, and we won’t spoil the surprise, but let’s just say it’s worth every sip. 

Siblings Kirra hits the sweet spot between refined and casual, with its dreamy atmosphere welcoming everyone from laidback beachgoers to others looking for gourmet seaside dining. Authenticity and creativity are key, and we think they’ve nailed both.
