Located in the heart of Surfers Paradise, seamlessly melds boldness and eccentricity with authentic Thai street food.

Since its opening in January, Pink Whale has landed with a splash, recognisable by a vibrant, neon-soaked restaurant with an atmosphere that’s just as cool as its menu. Pink Whale comes to us from ; the team behind some of the Gold Coast’s most beloved Thai restaurants including in Coomera, in Surfers Paradise, LimLay in Burleigh Heads and in Isle of Capri.

Now, let’s get down to serious business. Feasting, of course. For a main course, you’ll struggle to choose between the multitude of delectable options including curries, stir-fry, soups and hot pot. We’d recommend trying one of their signature dishes like the Sizzling Wagyu, topped with Thai herbs, an assortment of vegetables and garnished with pepper and garlic.

Or, if you’re feeling more adventurous, give the pineapple fried rice a go—a Thai-style fried rice with egg, cashew nut, pineapple and your choice of meat or tofu.

For our vegan and vegetarian friends, Pink Whale has an entire menu dedicated to you. Almost all of their dishes are customisable to accommodate a tofu option—try the Pad See Ew fried rice with vegetable and tofu option.

It would simply be wrong if we forgot to mention the drink menu, which is no less unique than the food. We’d recommend the Thai Milk Tea Slushy for a non-alcoholic option, or you can sip down the Long Thailand Iced Tea if you dare—a spin on the classic cocktail with homemade iced tea.
