It’s no secret that bagels are making a major comeback and we’re here for it. A good bagel has the power to make an ordinary day great and is leading the charge in bringing top-tier bagels to the Gold Coast.
Cult-favourite bagel lords, O Bagel have opened their third location in Southport, following great success at their OG Broadbeach and Brisbane locations.
O Bagel specialises in hand rolled artisan bagels which are baked daily, and if you haven’t tried a freshly baked, hand rolled bagel before, it’s the ultimate bready, chewy goodness. This specialty bagel house boasts an extensive menu of sandwich bagels—fat bagels stuffed with loaded gourmet fillings—or simple bagels for when you’re just after the classics.
And the choice of bagels, we hear you ask? You’re spoiled for choice with plain, sesame, poppy seed, spinach and cheese, blueberry, the everything bagel and even a Southport-only charcoal jalapeño bagel.
If you’re after a morning pick-me-up, chow down on the ‘G’Morning’ with maple bacon, easy over egg, a hash brown, American cheddar, parmesan aioli and sweet tomato relish or another crowd favourite is the ‘Classy Lox’ with 48-hour house-cured salmon, soft herb cream cheese, baby capers, tomato and red onion. Feeling like a classic? You can’t go past the simple yet delicious blueberry bagel.
O Bagel also slings up delicious caffeinated brews to go with your bagel, as well as a range of artisan iced drinks. We’re suckers for the matcha fusion and maple coco brew.
