It’s no secret that bagels are making a major comeback and we’re here for it. A good bagel has the power to make an ordinary day great and in Broadbeach is certainly doing that for their hordes of bagel-loving followers.
specialises in hand rolled artisan bagels which are baked daily, and if you haven’t tried a freshly baked, hand rolled bagel before, it’s the ultimate bready, chewy goodness. This specialty bagel house boasts an extensive menu of sandwich bagels—fat bagels stuffed with loaded gourmet fillings—or simple bagels for when you’re just after the classics. And the choice of bagels, we hear you ask? You’re spoiled for choice with plain, sesame, poppy seed, spinach and cheese, blueberry and the everything bagel.
If you’re after a morning pick-me-up, chow down on the ‘G’Morning’ with maple bacon, easy over egg, a hash brown, American cheddar, parmesan aioli and smoke tomato relish or another crowd favourite is the ‘Classy Lox’ with 48-hour house-cured salmon, soft herb cream cheese, baby capers, tomato and red onion. Feeling like a classic? You can’t go past the ‘HC Bagel’ with wood smoked ham, mozzarella and tomato or the much-loved blueberry cream cheese bagel.
O Bagel also slings up delicious caffeinated brews to go with your bagel, as well as a range of artisan iced drinks. We’re suckers for the matcha fusion and the hibiscus lemon iced tea. Hands down, O Bagel is our go-to spot for the best bagel on the Gold Coast.
