The Verdict

has taken the Gold Coast by storm, solidifying its place as the Coast’s undisputed hottest beachside haven. If this wasn’t enough already, they’re adding another jewel to their burgeoning crown—a high end, modern Japanese restaurant and bar.

is the latest addition to Cali Beach and boasting uninterrupted ocean views, an impressive Japanese-inspired cocktail list and a sumptuous menu that hits the sweet spot between Japanese flavours and local produce, it’s set to be one of the Coast’s most sought-after dining destinations.

Sake Sisters takes diners on a culinary, sensory experience which starts with light bites like freshly shucked oysters with yuzu caviar and ponzu, moves onto larger bites like wagyu beef black onyx skewers and hits a home run with winners like wagyu striploin with pickled red radish, miso butter and chilli miso.

Paying homage to the stunning beachfront location, Sake Sisters showcases a raw bar, serving up an incredible selection of sashimi and putting a GC twist on raw dishes like salmon ceviche and kingfish usuzukuri. Executive Chef, Marcelino Papio Jr. has earned his stripes at world-renowned restaurants, including Nobu Sydney and Zuma Japanese Restaurant in Dubai, and is excited to bring his signature flair to Cali Beach—and we’re excited to taste it.

Sake Sisters’ extensive cocktail menu seamlessly fuses Japanese flavours with classic cocktails, with an impressive range of sake, umeshu, yuzu and Japanese whisky, which innovatively complements the sensory dining experience.
