Broadbeach is undoubtedly one of the Gold Coast’s most lauded foodie hubs and it has cemented its place even further with the opening of an opulent seafood restaurant.  is brought to us from the restaurateurs behind , Steve and Autumn Adams, so you already know it’s seriously special.

The sprawling double-storey restaurant has taken over the former site of The Bavarian and seats 150 diners. Designed by the Gold Coast-based , who are the maestros responsible for many of the Gold Coast’s most superlative restaurants, BLOWFISH aims to provide an unprecendented level of seafood-centric cuisine, complemented by elegant design. 

Sea green, pearly white and sun-bleached timber adorn the downstairs dining space, while the impressive upstairs private dining room embraces the darker colours of the ocean depths.

A few highlights of BLOWFISH menu include Blowfish posh fish and chips, Eastern rock lobster from Coffs Harbour; soft shell Moreton Bay bugs and a whole sole deboned tableside.

There is a selection of premium caviar and for guests wanting a taste from the land, there is a selection of steaks from sister restaurant Moo Moo’s extensive steak menu.
