Surfers Paradise is getting a huge—and well-deserved—facelift and the (City) want your feedback to help make it happen. The City is even giving away $500 gift cards to five lucky members of the community to say thanks, and all you have to do is share your thoughts on the proposed plans to be in the running to win.
Drawing over four million visitors a year—plus those of us who are lucky enough to call it home—everyone’s favourite coastal playground needs some TLC to keep it fresh for decades to come. That’s why big changes are being proposed for Cavill Avenue, Cavill Mall and The Esplanade, as part of the Surfers Paradise Revitalisation project. The best bit? The Gold Coast community is being invited to help shape exactly how that will look in the future. 
With a whole host of changes proposed, the plan is to make Surfers Paradise more welcoming to families, pedestrian-friendly and accessible, safer for the public, and shaded by lush landscaping—with plenty of active and inclusive public spaces for all to enjoy.
