The Verdict
Hot diggity dawg, A new Korean hot dog joint has opened in Chancery Square, and they’re dishing out some seriously delicious snags.
Here to prove that hot dogs aren’t just meat in a bun topped with mustard and ketchup is , and boy they’re mighty!
Now, we’re not talking about your average sausage sizzle here, no siree! We’re talking about hot dogs on a stick rolled in dough, fried to perfection, sprinkled with your fave toppings, rolled in sugar and served with lashings of sauce. Get in our bellies.
The simple yet genius idea hails from Korea, where it’s a fave street food option amongst the locals and we can certainly see why.

Bistro Saine
Wander down the cobblestones of Saint Patrick’s Square and you might happen upon the luxurious first floor of newly-built Hotel Indigo, housed in a restored heritage building. You can enter through the other side too—the Albert Street entrance blending into the concrete jungle as if it was always there (just look for the elegant Bistro Saine font out front).
Takapuna Surf Club
When you hear the words surf club, what comes to mind? I think of ice cream, pizza, and Alf Stewart (I haven't watched Home & Away in years, but I understand the Summer Bay Surf Club is still standing. Poor old Mr. Stewart, I'm not so sure).
