The Verdict
Orakei Bay Village is on the fast-track to becoming Auckland's best foodie hub and it's thanks to the likes of Ampersand. From dawn to dusk, the modern cafe whips up seasonal dishes of deliciousness. Breakfast is all about breakfast ramen and sourdough crumpets, while lunch brings its A-game with a hearty cheeseburger and market sashimi. As for dinner, house spaghetti is a crowd fave...and be sure to save room for dessert! Wash it down with a caffeinated bevvy from Espresso Workshop Roastery's Coffee Alley or opt for something 'stronger' from the on-site bar.
