Enjoy a carefully crafted four course share menu based on great food matches, and if you have a special bottle of something sitting at home, for a small corkage fee this is the perfect time to open it.  Bring along that special bottle and we’ll take care of the rest.

There are many reasons that Melbourne stalwart, The Botanical, is one of our favourites.

With an impressive list of weeknight specials, The Botanical (affectionately known as The Bot) has a steady stream of regulars who make the most of their offerings. $25 will get you a glass of wine and a hearty main, which changes depending on what day you decide to dine. The Thursday steak night is one of the most popular, and for good reason - the porterhouse is always cooked to perfection.

The Botanical is home to a range of dining spaces that flow perfectly into one another and work cohesively. There’s a private partying space that sits at the rear of the venue, which has to be one of the most styling private spaces in Melbourne, with it’s leafy wall and tiled floor.

The front bistro and sunroom area are the ideal spot to grab brunch, lunch, or a relaxed dinner. If you’re after something a little more formal you can book a table in the dining room.

The main bar is one of the big draw cards for The Botanical: With an exceptional bar selection, ample seating, a fire in winter, and courtyard space, it’s not hard to see why this South Yarra stunner has such a loyal following.
