The second venture from those behind Dead Man Espresso (but since changing hands), Common Galaxia is a specialty coffee house and cafe that demands a visit to Seddon. With a simple, wooden interior garnished with chic touches like copper sinks, vases full of native flowers, and wide windows for people watching, Common Galaxia is the perfect place for brunch. The menu features updated versions of all the old favourites – early birds will love the porridge with cinnamon poached pears, or the zucchini fritters, while a burger and beer, or a Danish open sandwich will hit the spot at lunch time. The coffee is always top notch; their blends of coffee are on weekly rotation, with Seven Seeds and Market Lane often making an appearance.
