The verdict

Knafeh Bakery is the latest and greatest pop-up bakery, focusing on Middle Eastern street food, this family-run food truck has seen raging success. The entire production is run within a converted shipping container, with beautiful street art designed to take customers straight to the Middle East. Knafeh is a sweet dessert, made with sweet cheese or cream, finished with pistaschios and soaked in sugar-based syrup. Yum! The knafeh served by the Knafeh Bakery is made using a family recipe, and the chefs hope that sharing this dessert with Sydney will bring together people from many different races, religions and cultures, to share a love of food and tradition. We’re sold on the sound of that delicious sugar syrup!

The mobile bakery doubles as a party, with drums and dancing the norm at Knafeh. Whether it's in a car park, at a food festival, or in one of their other sneaky locations – you are always promised a good time.
