Bringing the essence of Spain’s Balearic islands to Sydney’s coastline, Iberica is a Spanish tapas and wine bar in the heart of Bondi.
Executive chef Ivan Sanchez brings over 15 years of experience specialising in Spanish cuisine, and delivers a menu that champions local produce with immersive elements like a melting truffle butter candle with rustic house-made bread, prawn-studded paella, jamon Iberico, and golden salt cod croquettes.
The Spanish soul continues to the drinks list developed by Carlo Valdivia (formerly of Porteño, Continental Deli, and Sokyo), with Iberian wines joined by cocktails like a house martini with manzanilla sherry and basil oil, and various sangria serves for hot summer days.
Designed to evoke charming Spanish villages, the venue is washed in warm tones and tiles, with vintage elements, natural textures, clay vessels, and plants throughout the space that offers bar, banquette and low table seating.
