Grumpy Donuts is the champion of donut-diner culture in Sydney. The St Peters outpost is their second location—and it's intended to be a breakfast one-stop-shop, peddling their much-loved light and fluffy doughnuts alongside Coffee Supreme coffee and breakfast burritos.
Set up next to a car wash on the busy Princes Highway, Grumpy Donuts St Peters is inspired by LA's iconic food stand institutions.
From the Deep Fried Hospo Group, who also run Valentina's in Marrickville, expect to see glossy glazed donuts like the chocolate Homer Simpson and special flavours like the "Funfetti" cake doughnut, buttered toast doughnut, and fairy bread doughnut.
Grumpy Donuts St Peters also serves up fan-favourite breakfast burritos, with your choice of sausage and egg filling, egg and bacon, vegetarian, or vegan.
“We’re looking to create a one-stop breakfast shop where you can stop in on your way to work, grab your morning coffee and burrito, as well as a box of donuts to share with your team," says Deep Fried Hospo co-owner, Scott Clark. "If you ask me, I couldn’t really think of a better way to start the day!”
