Australia Street Suites is an Inner West boutique hotel by Paisano and Daughters—expanding their precinct, which began with Continental Deli and now includes Flora, Mister Grotto and Osteria Mucca—with three thoughtfully curated, two-bedroom apartments offering guests a luxury foodie escape in the heart of Newtown.

“Sydney’s beaches and harbour might get all the postcards, but here, the streets tell the real story,” says co-founder Joe Valore.

Located in the historic H.May building off King Street, the three apartments (Flora, MG and Mucca) are named for the restaurants below and offer direct and exclusive access. Guests can pre-order drinks, snacks and desserts for their arrival, including oysters and champagne from Mister Grotto, cheese and charcuterie from Continental Deli, and the iconic Mar-tinny, Mexi-can Margarita, or even Flan in a Can.

Paisano and Daughters know that it’s the little things that make the biggest difference, which is why their interior design supports Australian makers and brands that the team know and love in their own lives; thoughtfully designed elements include custom furniture designed by the Melbourne brand Jardan, artworks by Toni Clark (Northern Rivers) and Kyle Murrell (Marrickville), beds by AH Beard and Sheridan bedding, body products by Leif and tea from Byron brand Mayde.

Guests receive a curated local guide of the best places to eat, drink and explore, written by locals and Inner West frequenters, and will enjoy a taste of quiet luxury mixed with travel-friendly practicality—the stay is walking distance to King Street, Enmore Theatre and the train line, with full kitchens and spa-style bathrooms.

The suites cater to all kinds of visitors, whether you are a local searching for a food-filled staycation, an interstate traveler here for shows, galleries and nights out, or an international visitor wanting to experience the beating heart of Sydney’s art and culture scene.
