The Verdict
From the legends that brought us El Publico, La Vida Urbana brings tasty Mexican eats with a slightly more casual vibe to Leederville. Open every night until late, you're in for a whole lot of scrumptious street eats. Our hot tip: order the nachos. But the best bit? You're welcome to just drop in for a drink anytime. Margarita anyone? The Feed Me menu has to be one of the most affordable in Perth. At $39 you'll get four courses of the most popular dishes, including dessert. It's a no brainer.
This May, La Vida Urbana is throwing a that highlights five of Oaxaca's most prominent flavours. It's going down on 13 May, kicking off at 6pm, and will only set you back $59. The menu, which has been expertly crafted by their award-winning head chef, will feature tasty eats that have never before been seen coming out of La Vida Urbana's kitchen. Plus, you'll get to taste Derrumbes mezcal from all over Mexico, including Durango, Zacatecas, San Luis Potosi and, of course, Oaxaca. Get tickets now, this one is not to be missed.

Gibney
White tablecloths, marble, jacketed wait staff and caviar bumps—Gibney is hands down the fanciest of all the venues under George Kailis' name. And honestly, it might just take the cake for 'most opulent dining destination' in all of Perth.
Tom’s Providore & Wine Bar
If you’re a Leederville local, you will probably recall the devastation felt the day we discovered the beloved Tom’s Cafe right in the heart of Oxford Street was closing down towards the start of the pandemic. But thankfully since closing the OG, the legends have come back with a new and improved Tom’s in Highgate.
