Fremantle International Street Arts Festival

Celebrate 25 years of the as they welcome acts from all over the world such as Peru, Japan, Canada, Argentina, France, FInland, Italy, The Netherlands, New Zealand and more! This festival occurs yearly over the Easter long weekend, and offers four days filled with free, family-friendly acts and events for the whole family to enjoy. To give you a taster, you can expect puppeteers, buskers, mermaids, Argentinian Tango, acrobatics, fire juggling and so much more.

For the first time ever, they are coinciding with the Fremantle International Street Arts Festival. The perfect excuse for a day trip to Freo!

Aviation Tour

The is offering families the chance to get up close to real military aircraft that helped shape our aviation history!

Starting at 10am, the one-hour, behind-the-scenes tour highlights a number of iconic aircraft including the Avro Lancaster, FA-18 Hornet, Supermarine Spitfire, and more. After the tour, you are free to explore the museum’s extensive collection at your own pace. The Tours are recommended for ages ten + and are limited to 20 spots per session.

Anzac Day Biscuit Making At The Bassendean Hotel

If you're kids boast about being the next MasterChef, put them to the test and book them in for an afternoon of fun. Ribs Lane has announced their School Holiday Pizza Academy - a hands-on, family-friendly experience that lets kids mix, knead, stretch and top their own wood-fired creations under the guidance of their expert pizzaiolo. Plus, they get to dig in at the end and enjoy their very own pizzas. The class is targeted to six to fifteen year-olds, and goes for two hours.

One lucky chef will score the ultimate prize: the chance to create their very own signature pizza for the Ribs Lane menu, with full naming rights!

This is sure to excite all the ocean-loving kids in the family. This program at mixes animal experiences with hands-on science fun, with a focus on sharks! Explore biology basics, fascinating fossils during a half-day of fun ocean-themed activities.

The three-hour program includes lunch, a glass-bottom boat ride, guided tours, basic biology lessons, shark artefacts and fossil exploration, as well as an art & design activity. Plus, at the end of it, you get your very own course completion certificate.
