From banging mezze to big meaty plates, the share-style food menu is underpinned by the rich, smokey flavours coming from their beautiful coal grill, with plenty of perfect Greek pours to match.
Intuition Wine and Kitchen
279 Rokeby Road, Subiaco
One of the newest kids on the ever-growing Subi block (not that we’re complaining), is a cozy spot all about Modern Mediterranean eats kissed with a little French flair. Head Chef Mathieu has made the move from his home country, France, where he spent years in Lyon (aka the French culinary capital) working alongside Michelin-starred chefs. More importantly, he learnt the art of cooking from his Mum and Grandma, ultimately allowing him to bring us this little slice of gastronomical heaven. Oh, and when it comes to wine pairings, Mathieu says “the best pairing is the wine you love”, and we say cheers to that.
Shui
12 Rokeby Road, Subiaco

From hospitality legends Chef Leigh Power (The Old Synagogue, The Beaufort, Ginger Boy and Sweetwater Rooftop Bar) and bar extraordinaire Benny Tua (Mechanic’s Institute, The Old Synagogue, Sweetwater Rooftop Bar and El Grotto) comes Shui, a Subi restaurant delivering contemporary Asian dining in a beautiful setting. “When you step into Shui, we want you to feel like you’ve wandered into a cool, far-flung city—yet it’s right here in Subiaco”, says the Shui team, and this is pretty much spot on. With mouth-watering menu items like prawn crumpets, beef tartare with fried shallot ice cream, and wood roasted pork belly served with mien "crack" sauce, it's easy to over order here. But hey, when the food's this good, you may as well go all in.
La Condesa
483 Hay Street, Subiaco

Clint Nolan has struck gold again with La Condesa. Think of this upscale Mexican cantina as the classier older sister of Northbridge fave, La Cholita—serving marvellous Mexican eats and god-tier margaritas (the spicy passionfruit number is our all-time fave) but in a more refined Tulum-inspired setting. Behind La Condesa, you'll also find a hidden back-alley bar from the same team, called Bar Banter. It's perfect for a cheeky drink before dinner!
Lulu La Delizia
5/97 Rokeby Road, Subiaco

It’s a no-brainer as to why Lulu La Delizia is celebrated by Perth's (and Australia’s) most discerning Italian food aficionados. The pasta is divine, the wines delicious, and it’s a cute and cosy spot that will score you date night brownie points.

Mistelle
1/205 Nicholson Road, Shenton Park
Head out of central Subi to the border of Shenton Park for a taste of Parisian charm at , an effortlessly chic French bistro dishing up Euro vibes in the leafy west. Owners Marie and Thomas put it best “At Mistelle, everything is made with love—from the food, to the playlists, to the wine list”. To kick things off, we’d recommend going straight for the roasted nectarine, with honey and stracciatella, think equal parts juicy, creamy, sweet, savoury, ah… we're getting carried away, just get it!
