If you're hosting Easter lunch this year and are not too sure where to find the best of Perth's seafood scene or what will be open, you’re probably not the only one.

We’ve done some digging and found which of our favourite fish markets are serving up the freshest catches this Easter so you can focus on the hosting side of things, and we’ll help sort the seafood side.

Whether you're after fresh oysters, pink prawns or our state's famous rock lobster, here’s where you’ll be able to get your hands on all things seafood.

Kailis Bros Leederville

Renowned for being home to some of Perth's finest seafood, is open all weekend and ready to cater to the most gourmet of seafood spreads. Not in the mood to cook? You can pre-order their ready-to-eat, chef-prepared salmon tarator, baked with traditional Middle Eastern flavours. The fish market will be open all week with varying hours (check their website for details) and on Good Friday, the grill will be sizzling from 9am to 2pm with grab-and-go specials including freshly shucked oysters, Tasmanian salmon skewers with your choice of citrus salsa verde, romesco or tzatziki, and plenty more.

Fins Seafood

Bicton, Hamilton Hill

If you're whipping up a Good Friday feast,  has a reputation for dishing up the freshest catch straight off the trawler. Known for supplying Perth’s top restaurants from their Hamilton Hill factory, they’ve recently opened a new retail store in Bicton Central Shopping Centre, making it easier than ever to get restaurant-quality seafood at home. If you’re looking to impress with something beyond the classics, co-owner Phil Clark recommends the Chinese doughnut with scampi on top, calling it “out of this world”, so we certainly think it’s worth a try. Doors will be open 7:30am to 6pm on Good Friday and Easter Saturday, but closed the remainder of the weekend so stock up early.

Seafresh

Claremont, Innaloo, Myaree

The go-to for those looking for fresh seafood in Perth, is serving up the goods all weekend long at their Claremont, Innaloo and Myaree locations. Open daily from 8am to 6pm, they’ve got everything from premium seafood to their famous sashimi, poke bowls and more, perfect for an Easter feast.

The Herdsman Market

Known for its luxe products and top-tier produce, The Herdsman Market certainly doesn’t drop the ball when it comes to seafood. Inside this aesthetically curated grocer, you’ll find the Fish Merchant, where delicacies like handcrafted Tasmanian salmon skewers and Shark Bay tiger prawns await. If you're putting a twist on the traditional, their vibrant selection of handmade sushi is worth taking a peek at. Open all weekend from 7am to 8pm, it’s an ideal spot for any last-minute needs or indulgences.

Load up on fresh fish this Easter at , which is open every day over the long weekend from 8am to 6pm. No matter what you’re after, expect to find only the highest quality seafood here, plus a range of condiments and goodies to bring out the flavours.

Hunting for the best fresh seafood in Perth without having to drop a line yourself? Look no further than , open all Easter long weekend, including 8:30am to 6pm on Good Friday and Easter Saturday, and 9am to 5pm on Easter Sunday and Monday. Alongside their top-quality seafood selection, you’ll also find delicious extras like traditional Greek spanakopita and the sweet, custardy delight known as souffra (aka custard cake), perfect for adding a little something special to your Easter table.

Sealanes Seafood Market

With huge amounts of fresh seafood arriving daily, you’ll want to hit up if you’re based in Fremantle. They are open all Easter, from 11am to 8pm on Good Friday and from 12am to 8pm for the rest of the weekend, plus extended trading hours on Thursday for the early birds. If cooking isn’t on the agenda this year, we don’t blame you, you can always grab some of Perth's best fish and chips here too.

Catalanos

Bassendean, Whitfords

Since 1969, has been a staple for the Perth seafood market, bringing fresh catches straight from the ocean to your table for generations. This Easter, one of their standout specials is the XL Shark Bay king prawns for only $29.99/kg. But if you're planning a Catalanos Easter spread, make sure to get in early as they’re only open Thursday from 9am to 4:30pm and Saturday from 7:30am to 1pm over the long weekend.
