It's no secret that we are a bit obsessed with the Perth Hills and all they have to offer, so we're just a teensy bit excited by the return of this cracking bonfire and mulled cider festival.
Brought to us by the legends at Core Cider House, is hitting the hills on Saturday 5 August, so mark that day in your calendars right now.
Along with toasty mulled cider and an orchard bonfire, there'll be hearty eats, a live band, medieval combat, fire twirlers and dancers to get you celebrating yet another successful harvest.
The event is based on the old pagan practice of casting away evil (called Wassail) and festival-goers are encouraged to dress in their best pagan dress and dance around the bonfire. Sounds fun to us, but if you'd prefer to stay cosy in the Old Apple Shed where the food is, we won't judge.
Why not make a big night of it and book a three-course sit-down dinner in the restaurant prior to the festivities kicking off? Either way, you can't go wrong when mulled cider is involved.
