The Verdict
Situated on the beautiful island of Waiheke, Mudbrick Vineyard & Restaurant is a stunning spot for a long lunch, wedding, wine tasting or an afternoon strolling through their gardens. Mudbrick, a family owned and operated vineyard, was purchased in 1992 and has grown into one of the best places to drink wine and eat fine food in Auckland. The restaurant offers an impressive degustation with wine matches or round up your wine enthusiast friends and tuck into the a la carte menu with the likes of duck liver mousse, grilled angus eye fillet and a delicious black forest dessert matched with sherry. A trip to Mudbrick is a must for every Aucklander.
