The Verdict
Neighbourhood dining doesn’t get much better than Meadow, a laidback local with an elegant edge in Meadowbank. It’s one of the best eateries in the area, with a farm-to-table menu, and seasonal ingredients fresh from the restaurant’s very own Clevedon farm.
Grab a table in Meadow’s garden and tuck into the day menu—an assortment of breakfast creations (avocado smash, buttermilk waffles, and huevos sucios, amongst delicious smoothies and juices), healthy salads, and woodfired pizza. Once dinner rolls around, Meadow showcases the best New Zealand wine alongside free range meat, seafood, and scrumptious sides.

When you hear the words surf club, what comes to mind? I think of ice cream, pizza, and Alf Stewart (I haven't watched Home & Away in years, but I understand the Summer Bay Surf Club is still standing. Poor old Mr. Stewart, I'm not so sure).
