Nothing is more irresistible than a piping hot and bubbling New York pizza pie, crafted with love by a tried and true New Yorker with Italian roots. That, our friends, is the magic behind Epolito’s Pizzeria in Grey Lynn.
Epolito’s features the hand-stretched, thin crust pizza bases that put New York pies on the map. Add in a slow-cooked tomato sauce steeped in flavour, a smattering of cheese and whatever toppings tickle your fancy, bake it on an oven stone, and out emerges pie straight from Epolito’s heaven. Nothing hidden, nothing fancy. It’s tradition, and it’s damn delicious.
