Seafood lovers listen up! You'll find a sleek seafood-inspired restaurant at Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour Hotel. La Marée, which translates to ‘the tide' in French, is bringing French gastronomy to a plate near you at breakfast, lunch (which can be scored as a cheeky $69 express situation), dinner, or a full day's worth of feasting.

The beautiful restaurant sits overlooking Waitematā Harbour and reflects timeless French luxury in a clean, contemporary space.

Created initially by Chef Marc de Passorio and Kiwi MasterChef winner, Tim Read, the menu is now in the highly capable hands of Executive Chef Maninder Panesar a.k.a. Chef Mani. Spoiler alert: The experience is nothing short of très magnificent.

And because we're sure you can't wait to take a look at the menu, we're giving you a little glimpse right here. Think: tempura oysters, Coromandel scallops, rock lobster whipped up into ravioli, roasted cauliflower in romesco sauce and prune ketchup, seared Canter Valley duck breast....

Sounds divine, right? Pair that with an elite waterside location in the Viaduct and an exquisite wine menu, La Marée is perfect for your next rendezvous.

All that’s left to be said is, bon appétit.
