Breaks N Brass Will Be Serving Up The Sickest Old School Hip Hop Beats At This Legendary Gig

Man in red trackies holds an old school beatbox.

Just imagine the scene if Snoop Dogg or Dr. Dre picked up a trumpet and smashed out some ol’ skool bangers. Well, New Zealand’s very own MC Slave, aka “The Logg Cabin'' is giving us a chance to witness just what this may sound like, right here in Auckland.

Flava presents the highly anticipated concert that is sure to take you on a trip down memory lane, featuring a roster of the top hip-hop artists in NZ kickin’ it to some of the best 90s classics we know and love. Not only will they put their own twist on these covers, but they’ll be backed by a 16-piece brass band and a five-piece rhythm section. Siccc.

Expect the best Kiwi hip-hop artists in Ché-Fu, Ria Hall, Tali, King Kapisi, Rubi Du and DJ Manchoo coupled with a breath-taking atmosphere combining old school beats with new school brass. It’s a night where you’ll remember the greats, and one you won’t forget.

So crank that Gin & Juice, and act like Nuthin’ But A G Thang at the Breaks n Brass concert coming to Auckland Town Hall this winter. Grab your tickets
