Melbourne-based not-for-profit streetwear label celebrates it’s fourth birthday this year and is celebrating some impressive milestones they have knocked up along the way.

The streetwear label has now opened its doors to over 1,000 young people affected by hardship and provided more than 4,800 clothing items and 778 Pinchapoo toiletry packs free-of-charge to young people connected to homelessness services in Melbourne.

HoMie also established the HoMie Pathway Alliance program - HoMie's own accredited retail training and education paid internship for young people affected by homelessness or hardship now in its third year. This program has delivered over 6,400 hours of on-the-job retail training and 500 hours of professional development training.

HoMie, founded as a Facebook page designed to share the stories of homelessness in Melbourne before moving into a pop-up store at Melbourne Central, has recently had its Brunswick Street flagship store undergo a stylish refurbishment, courtesy of Melbourne-based firm Office.
