Fed Square Is Set To Be Transformed Into An Outdoor Cinema And French Winter Playground This July

By

Over summer, was transformed into a bustling green oasis. And now, everyone’s favourite cultural hub is about to receive a winter glow-up of epic proportions with an undeniably French twist.

The centrepiece comes from French artist Cyril Lancelin in the form of a glowing installation called The Knot, which if you take a look, pretty much speaks for itself. The mammoth-scale knot will illuminate Fed Square through the entirety of the festival from Thursday 15 July to Sunday 5 September, but there’s so much more happening in between, too.

In partnership with , the square will present several weekends dedicated entirely to French film and music on the main stage between Friday 27 August and Sunday 5 September. Meanwhile, square-goers can tuck right into a French feed—keep an eye out for the Posh Brioche van.

Throughout August and September, there’ll also be a stack of free workshops which are becoming a mainstay of Fed Square. These workshops, of course, will be undoubtedly French-focussed and will cover off everything from decoding French lifestyle to a boozy Monet and Mimosa painting session.
