is helmed by the Sicilian-born pizza and pastry chef Emanuele Malara and since launching onto the Broadbeach dining scene in October 2024, it’s certainly made its mark.
Drawing on Emanuele’s decades of culinary expertise—honed in Rome and at the iconic —Ciccio’s celebrates Italy’s most iconic duo: pizza and gelato. At Ciccio’s, “Si mangia con le mani,” meaning “to eat with your hands,” is taken quite literally—here, you’re encouraged to forgo cutlery and dive in.
From its open kitchen, Ciccio’s serves up a tempting selection of appetizers, share plates and of course, pizzas that celebrate authentic Italian flavours and traditions.
Kick things off with a few small bites designed to pique your appetite, like mozzarelline fritte, olive ascolane, and focaccia bread (best enjoyed with mortadella according to Ciccio’s). A must-order from the share plates is the calzone stuffed with fresh mussels cooked inside folded dough to lock in all that flavour.
And that’s just the beginning. Ciccio’s pizzas are an experience in themselves, featuring a highly fermented dough that changes colour seasonally. With 30 different options, choosing just one is no easy feat.
You can expect the classics that will undoubtedly transport you to the streets of Italy, alongside gourmet combinations you won’t find anywhere else. Off the gourmet menu, ‘Ciccio’s Favourite’ is a uniquely mouth-watering combination of pulled beef, pecorino, cherries and fresh cheeses. Not quite that adventurous? Stick to tradition with one of 11 classic red pizzas, each showcasing Ciccio’s signature originality.
And at Ciccio’s, dessert isn’t an afterthought—it’s a necessity. Their housemade gelato, crafted from the finest ingredients, comes in 18 rotating flavours. Indulge in decadent gelato desserts like the indulgent Tartufo di Pizzo, a chocolate-hazelnut gelato sandwich with a molten chocolate centre or enjoy the signature handmade Sicilian brioche with gelato. Prefer something even sweeter? Opt for one of six dessert pizza options, each designed to satisfy even the most serious sweet tooth.
