Indigenous and unheard grape varietals are finally getting their time in the spotlight in Wild Legs—Newstead’s new wine room where the atmosphere is unpretentious, the plates are best shared, and the drinks list is curated to impress.
From the crew behind Adela Wine Bar—Manolo Lopez, Silvana Calil, and Holly Tite—with a name that pays homage to the ‘legs’ created in a glass of wine, Wild Legs prides themselves on showcasing a tasteful selection of natural, organic and biodynamic wines from around the world, with a range of frequently rotating premium and unique wines by the glass. The cocktails simultaneously focus on distinctive liquors and natural ingredients like The Granny Smith which features freshly juiced Granny Smith apples, London dry gin and green Chartreuse or the Fun Spritz—a refreshing tipple which heroes Wild Legs’ signature Jabuticaba Spritzer made in-house with berries grown locally on Mt Tamborine.
Chefs Jean Antoine and Priscilla Horeau bring a wealth of experience and a sparkling portfolio to the Wild Legs Table, having hosted lavish dinner parties for discerning clients, including HRH Prince Michael of Kent, Bill Gates, and Boris Johnson. Chef Antoine’s classical training in French and modern European cuisine alongside Chef Horeau’s expertise is honed into a delightfully uncomplicated menu with modern flair. Think share plates such as house-made focaccia with whipped butter, mortadella brioche buns, duck liver parfait, and charcuterie, as well as larger dishes like lamb merguez and Wild Legs’ cheese souffle that’s already making a name for itself in the community.
Wild Legs welcomes walk-ins only.
