Wondering how you’ll spend your next day out in Logan? The and Zarraffa’s Coffee founder Kenton Campbell might just be providing the goods with the launch of The F.E.D (The Food and Entertainment District), South East Queensland’s newest food and entertainment destination.
Situated halfway between the Gold Coast and Brisbane, the new venue is housed within the massive Distillery Road Market precinct and comes with over 600 car parks and easy access on and off the M1 Motorway. Dishing up next-level entertainment and delicious street eats, combines a huge indoor dining hall with an outdoor entertainment area and multiple food vendors, all of it within spitting distance of the already established Perentie Brewing Co, Zarraffa’s Coffee roastery and cafe and of course, the indoor market hall Distillery Road Market is named for.
If you’re just here for a bite, your options are endless. No need to choose between slow-cooked meat platters from Sugar Creek Smokehouse, authentic tacos from Posadas Mexican Kitchen, classic chicken wings and tenders from Wing It, or pizza by the slice from Slice It, because you can just order one of everything and dig in. To wash down your meal (or in this case meals), you can grab an ice cold lager from the brewerie next door or hit the Tequila Bar for a few margarites.
As for the entertainment side of things, The F.E.D has big plans. Already on the calendar is Lasso Country Music Festival in July and Grinspoon in October, but watch this space as they announce an onslaught of local and international acts ready to grace their newest stage. The space will also host popular home-grown talent with weekly performances by local bands and artists.
