The Verdict
In 2009, local produce store and community hub Farmer Joe’s was forced to close up shop. But as they say, when one foodie hub closes, another one opens.
Enter, The Farm House; a new Brisbane café in Kedron serving up delicious fresh and local food as a tribute to Farmer Joe’s beloved produce store. The Farm House buys from many local and regional producers to support dairy farmers and fresh food producers in their area—their aim is to take food from the farm straight to your plate, so everything they serve is both economical and delicious.
Farmhouse boasts an impressive all-day brekky and lunch menu, serving up classic favourites with a modern twist. Think buttermilk pancakes with popcorn butter, crispy cheese and potato cakes, or breakfast gnocchi. (Pasta for breakfast? Sign us up.)
Farmhouse also offers a range of freshly squeezed juices, super smoothies, and atomic-strength coffee, making it the perfect place for a healthy and delicious brunch.
