If your dream afternoon involves cold beers, bold Aussie flavors, and open-air rooftop vibes, get ready— is bringing it all to Fortitude Valley.
Inspired by the dramatic landscapes of The Great Dividing Range, this new outdoor rooftop beer garden has transformed the space that once held Birdees into a celebration of Australia's natural beauty through through food, drinks, and design. Think burnt orange, eucalyptus green, and navy hues, festoon lighting, timber accents, and plenty of native greenery to set the scene.
On the menu? Expect modern twists on classic Aussie flavors, from native ingredients to premium local produce. Breakfast is simple and hearty with an emphasis on premium ingredients, while lunch and dinner experiments with bold flavours and creative plates that are distincly homegrown—think Byron Bay burrata, chargrilled Mooloolaba king prawns, and juicy rump steak. Even the Neopolitan pizza features an Australian twist like the Chook & Stone with Queensland mango chicken.
As for drinks, the curated cocktail list heroes local spirits, botanicals and creativity, in unique spins on the classics. There's the Outback Blaze marg with bush tomato and chilli infused agave, while an Aussie household staple makes an appearance in the sweet Milo Flip.
Behind the concept is Danny Webster-Clamp, a hospitality heavyweight who’s managed everything from London boutique hotels to Moscow nightclubs and Sydney’s best restaurants. His approach? Keep it local, simple, and fun—with a sharp focus on guest experience and a deep love for agave spirits (so expect an incredible tequila and mezcal selection, too).
Whether you’re after a laid-back long lunch, sunset drinks, or a buzzing night under the stars, The Beaumont Beer Garden is set to be your new go-to.
