Ready yourselves to down a few cold ones, southsiders, because a brand new distillery has landed at Eagleby’s Distillery Road Market—and there’s 30,000 litres of beer in the tanks ready to be poured. Perentie Brewing Co. specialises in authentic lagers brewed on site in a huge architecturally-designed space, complete with a beer garden overlooking the Albert River.
The mammoth industrial-style space features plenty of indoor seating where you can escape the heat too, with 40 of the 68 taps split between the multiple bars dedicated to Perentie brews. When you get peckish, you can grab a meaty feed from Sugar Creek Smokehouse to pair with your beer, who have also moved into the space, or opt for something off Perentie’s own menu of eats, which includes the likes of smash burgers and prawn and bug rolls.
