Good Things Grocer has brought some sweet Northern Rivers charm up the highway to the southern ‘burbs of Brisbane. This culinary haven is housed in the old Tarragindi Fruit Barn, bringing the iconic corner store back to life. They just don’t make supermarkets like this anymore, filled with small-batch producers and regional farm goodies, where you’re not just shopping, you’re uncovering the story of where your weekly groceries came from. 

Co-founders Kymberlee and Sarah Stone created the store after losing their beloved cafe in the 2022 Lismore floods, and are determined to bring a little of the community spirit they had found there to Brisbane. Wander the aisles with a basket and you’ll find it, with everything from Riser Bread and Meat At Billy’s to Jocelyn’s Provisions and Barambah Dairy lining the shelves. 

Don’t just stop at shopping though, feel free to chat to the team about where your veggies were grown and taste the fruit before you commit to the purchase. Grab a latte at the coffee bar, stock up on essentials, and feel good about your grocery shop at the end.
