After being cancelled in 2020 and 2021, the hugely popular are finally bringing noodles, street food, and crazy creations back to Brisbane for 12 nights from Wednesday 15 June until Sunday 26 June.
This bustling (and free) Asian food celebration is one of our favourite events of the year, because it gives us the chance to stuff ourselves silly with everything from dumplings and bao buns to noodles and takoyaki—and this year’s event will be no different, but it will be in a fresh location.
In 2022, the Night Noodle Markets will go ahead in the City Botanic Gardens, making them perfect for an after-work feed or tasty starting point for a night out.
While stallholder details are still being finalised, you can expect favourites like bao buns, flying noodles, twisted potatoes and coal-grilled skewers from the likes of Hoy Pinoy, Flying Noodles, May’s Malaysian Hawker, Wonderbao, Gelato Messina and Twistto. There'll also be pop-up bars by Gage Roads Brewing, Aperol and Rekorderlig, plus the Dan Murphy’s Zero% Bar which will be shaking fresh non-alcoholic cocktails.
On top of live entertainment and lion dancers, QR code-based ordering app Mr Yum will also be set up so you can use your phone to order from multiple venues at once, and the event will also be doggo-friendly.
You can see the full lineup of vendors, register for a free ticket, and start planning your eatinerary .
