An out-of-this world experience is launching in Brisbane’s Queens Plaza on Saturday 5 November and we know you won’t want to miss it. Whether you’re an avid space lover or you’re just looking to entertain the kids for a few hours, strap in because this interactive experience will have you embarking on the celestial voyage of a lifetime.
From witnessing a double sunrise on Mercury to seeing a prototype Z-2 Spacesuit replica designed for future missions to Mars, Neighbourhood Earth gives visitors of all ages the chance to live out their space traveller dreams and be an astronaut for the day. We just know you’re going to love every part of the experience.
Your journey will begin in a panoramic cinema experience where you’ll be invited to explore the wonders of space including our solar system and the known worlds beyond. You’ll then venture through the artefact gallery which features replicas from the U.S. Space and Rocket Center including a scale model of a section of the International Space Station. Finally, the hands-on learning zone filled with interactive holographic activities and games is sure to have your kids (and you) hooked for hours.
The award-winning exhibition will be open for a limited season, landing in Brisbane on 5 November, 2022 and continuing until 5 February, 2023.
Tickets start at $15 and are available for purchase .
