What's better than one mastermind? Two. Parisian standout label Casablanca and New Balance have teamed up again to serve us a fresh drop of retro, 70s running vibe sneakers—and they're dropping today.
Following their widely successful initial collaborations, the duo is back redefining the relaxed sneaker but also taking on a new silhouette with the (and we’re not mad about it).
New Balance, known for its comfortable, performance-based sneakers, has gained quite a lot of momentum within the lifestyle space in recent years, thanks to its consistently strong design but also their alignment with unlikely brands such as Aimé Leon Dore, Joe Freshgoods, and, of course, Casablanca. This has not only helped amplify the brand’s relevance in streetwear but it's quickly become the new staple in every luxury wardrobe.
Both styles (327 and 237) feature a wedged heel, suede, mesh, and nylon upper, as well as Casablanca’s signature monogram pattern (which was initially released on the apparel pieces from its AW20 collection).
The 237 is a less-sporty style, marking the next evolution in lifestyle footwear, and will be released alongside the initial 327, in the same colour palette and monogram design. This drop is a lot more subtle than the first two collabs, so it’s likely to be a buzzed-about sneaker amongst a wider market.
If you’re as much a fan of the 327 or 237 sneakers as we are, try to nab yourself a pair via the or at specialty retailers such as, Up There, Above the Clouds, and from Friday 5 March.
Both styles are limited and available for a suggested retail price of and . But if we were you, we’d get in quick!
